Following the brutal rape and murder of notorious
movie star
Claire Hastings in her luxury condo last week, Bel Air Chief of Detectives
released the following information on prime suspects in the case.

Angelo. Last name unknown. No known address. Works at odd jobs. Believed to have jumped Italian ship headed for the Canary Islands. Had a brief, unhappy encounter with Clair. |

Viktor Chermenkin. Russian national. Maintains an apartment in Bel Air but has a wife, two children and a home in Moscow. Interpol has evidence he is a don in the Russian Mafia. |

Itinerant laborer. Name and address unknown. Possible onetime boyfriend. (Clair had unusual taste in men!) Neighbors saw him loitering around Clair's apartment several times in recent weeks. |

Ja-Le Rasheed. Personal trainer. Married with children, living in the Valley. Known to have been frustratingly close to the murdered woman. He had motive and opportunity but he is the least likely perp among the suspects. |

Stewart
Hoyt. Waiter. Single, Living with his parents in Canoga Park, though currently
he has disappeared. Has a history of sudden, violent attacks on women.
Never convicted, to the frustration of the DA's office.

Tony is a pizza delivery boy who wants to be an actor, which is why he delivers pizzas to movie stars like Claire. Lifts weights, knows martial arts, and police say he could easily have overpowered Claire if he wanted to. |
